Amazing footage has captured the amphibious assault ship HMS Albion's "office with a view" during deployment in Norway.
The Royal Navy's 'Swiss Army knife' – called that because of the range of roles the ship can carry out – has been exercising alongside Nato allies on this latest deployment, with Royal Marines embarked on the ship also testing their abilities in the challenging climate.
The "fantastic footage" of Albion in a Norwegian fjord was captured and shared "thanks to our JEF nations allies", Albion posted on Twitter.
Norwegian, Netherlands and UK forces have been working together in the High North – the territories of Nordic countries including Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, located throughout the Arctic beyond the Polar Circle – as part of Exercise Joint Warrior and Exercise Joint Viking 23.
Described as the Royal Navy's 'Swiss Army knife' because of the range of roles the ship can carry out, HMS Albion was shown alongside the Royal Norwegian Navy's HNoMS Skjold and HNoMS Uredd in the footage in the tweet below.
