Top Secret Cold War Station Set For Whale Listening Transformation
A former cold war surveillance station could be given a different listening function if residents of a tiny community on the Western Isles succeed in an attempt to buy it. The people of Gallan Head plan to buy the disused outpost and turn it into a place where tourists can lsiten in on whales singing.
