AP-3C Orions decommissioned
Three AP-3C Orion aircraft from RAAF Base Edinburgh have been taken out of service as their airframes have reached the end of their useful life. Most of the aircraft components have been removed and will be used as spare parts to keep the other aircraft flying. The aircraft fuselage and wings were transported to a metal recycling yard where they were crushed and recycled.
