Russian Corvettes Ready to Enter ServiceRUSSIAN CORVETTE GRAD SVIYAZHSK


Russian two new missile corvettes have completed acceptance trials and are ready to enter service in the Caspian Flotilla, writes RIA Novosti.



The new Buyan-M class ships, named Uglich and Grad Sviyazhsk, started sea trials in August and completed Kalibr-NK missiles tests during the trials.


The Buyan Class corvettes are designed and built to operate in maritime patrol missions along the maritime economic zone of Russia and they can conduct missions in shallow waters and river mouths.
