USS Porter (DDG-78) is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer built by Ingalls Shipbuilding.

The contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $61.2 million. All work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by April 2014.

This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with two proposals received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
