Participating ships included USS Sterett, HMAS Ballarat, JS Izumo, JS Sazanami, and HMCS Winnipeg.

SOUTH CHINA SEA (June 10, 2017) The guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) takes part in a passing exercise with ships from the Royal Australian Navy, Royal Canadian Navy and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. During the June 8-10 exercise, the ships completed meneuvering events, helicopter operations, personnel exchanges, gunnery exercises and air defense training. Participating ships included Sterett, HMAS Ballarat, JS Izumo, JS Sazanami, and HMCS Winnipeg. (Royal Australian Navy photo by LSIS Bradley Darvill)
