PORTSMOUTH, England (May 22, 2021) The guided-missile destroyer USS The Sullivans (DDG 68) is moored at Portsmouth, England before joining Carrier Strike Group 2021 for Operation Fortis, May 22, 2021. Carrier Strike Group 2021 (CSG21) will see the ship along with the strike group work with naval forces from over 40 countries. The deployment of CSG-21 is a historic achievement and the culmination of a decade-long bilateral carrier cooperation effort to deepen U.S.-UK interoperability in an unprecedented way.
